Youth association seeks community support

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Isolo Chapter has called on the well-meaning residents to support its activities geared towards the development of the youths in the community.

During its courtesy visit to the Community Development Committee (CDC) and the leader of the House, Hon. Remy Shittu Remy at the council Secretariat, the NYCN Coordinator, Comrade Saliu Adewole appealed to leaders in the council area to consider the activities of the group as complementary effort to drive development.

He said if supported, the group is capable of taming social vices such as thuggery, hooliganism common among the youths in the community.

He said the courtesy visitation was to further familiarise leaders in the council areas with the activities of NYCN and seek their support in order to achieve some of its objectives.

Responding, the council leader, Hon. Remy and the CDC Chairman, Mr. Segun Olatunde promised to render the needed support to make sure the youth’s body is relevant in the community and its activities are appreciated.
