SUBEB kits schools against COVID-19 second wave

As school resumes,The State Universal Basic Education Board ( SUBEB) supplied  COVID-19 preventive materials to all the schools across the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) to protect teachers/ pupils from the pandemic while in the course of teaching and learning process.

In other to prevent the wreck of education system in 2021, SUBEB deemed it fit to take proactive steps to ensure that the pandemic is curtailed within the school environment.

The preventive materials supplied includes, cartons of  hand sanitizers and nose masks to be distributed to schools to curtail the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic that is fast spreading amongst the people in the society.

The Executive Secretary ( ES) of Oshodi (LGEA) Barr. Femi Ogunwusi commended the initiative of the SUBEB towards the concern of the teachers and pupils for a healthy atmosphere in the school environment.

Ogunwusi advised teachers to take topmost precaution with deligent compliance to all the guidelines provided to survive the second wave of COVID-19 while in school so that both teachers and pupils can enjoy a sound system of education in the year 2021.

All the 56 schools under Oshodi-Isolo (LGEA) had a fair share of the preventive materials (sanitizers/Nose Masks) while other precautions like regular hand washing and temperature takings, remains in the protocols before any access can be granted into the school premises.
