Somolu Football Council Chairman Reveals Exciting Opportunities For Grassroots Coaches

The chairman of Somolu Football Council (SFC), Olushola Idebi has revealed the exciting opportunities up for grabs for grassroots coaches in Somolu.

He made known his intentions in driving football in Somolu to greater heights during the first stakeholders meeting at CMS Primary School, Bariga.

Olushola told ECHONEWS that his administration is ready to combat the challenges facing Somolu Football with the aim of providing solutions to it.

He also informed the coaches to carry him along with their activities so that they won’t be shortchanged when making business dealings that involves transfer of players.

The Somolu Football Council boss said he had been told series of news about how coaches are duped of their rights on some players and noted those days are gone because he will ensure grassroots coaches in Somolu are not shortchanged and get what’s due to them.

Olushola however disclosed that, they will partner with the local government authorities on how to drive football forward and to ensure government intervention in their activities.
