Simario FA Crowned Champions Of Standard U10 Cup 2026

Simario FA have emerged victorious of the 2025 Standard U10 Cup after defeating Lofty Skills 2-1 at Gbaga Pitch, Ikorodu.

The tournament which was founded by Nigeria elite professional referee, Shade Ekun catered for over 100 kids spread across eight clubs that participated in the one day tourney.

Tens of balls, football cones, whistles, and captain bands were donated to all participating teams by Ekun as she gives back to the development of grassroots football.

Ekun said the objective of the tournament is to strengthen the growth of grassroots football and further encourage the young kids and their coaches not to give up on their career.

She further appreciated Ronaldo Vianney Rotimi (Diego) for donating a huge number of balls to the participating teams.

Israel Oyebowale of Simario FA was awarded the best goalkeeper of the tournament due to his impressive saves and reflexes at a young age. While David Eleckwachi (Simario FA) won the highest goal scorer with five goals in five matches and best attacker while Lechi Eleckwachi (Simario FA) went home with the youngest player of the tournament award.

Lofty Skills, Olaiya Qudus clinched the best defender title for his defensive leadership and approach to opposing attacking threats. Simario FA midfield anchor, Jewel Ogbuitepu claimed the best midfielder award for his sublime passes in the middle of the pack.

Lofty Skills SA playmaker, Igbekele Pelumi emerged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament through his exploits in the competition.
