Seyi Jakande Believes Ghetto Tigers/Odi-olowo Ojuwoye Sports Awards Will Inspire Next Generation Of Superstars

The vice chairman of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Mr Seyi Jakande is convinced that the Ghetto Tigers/Odi-olowo Ojuwoye Sports Awards will nurture the next generation of superstars in the grassroots.

Jakande was awarded the distinguished sportsman of the year following his audacious contributions to sports in the grassroots.

He believes that recognizing the standouts talents will create a competitive environment and thereby motivate the young athletes to new heights.

“The Ghetto Tigers/Odi-olowo Ojuwoye Sports Awards has a profound impact on aspiring youngsters in the grassroots. Firstly, it provides a platform for recognition, motivating them to strive for excellence in their chosen sports. At the same time, it inspires hope and a sense of possibility, showing that their talents can be showcased and rewarded. Finally, it fosters a sense of community and camaraderie, encouraging teamwork and healthy competition.

Jakande who’s vying for the chairmanship seat of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA in the forthcoming Lagos State Local Government Elections gave his assurance that sports would remain a top priority for him while sustaining Sports activities and ensuring athletes have access to modern day facilities when elected into office.

“As a chairmanship aspirant for Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, supporting sports in the community is a top priority for me. We will sustain all sporting activities and maintain the sports infrastructures, ensuring that our young athletes have access to safe and modern facilities. We will introduce a comprehensive sports development program, provide facilities, equipment and coaching for young athletes etc.
