Rwandan officials will take charge of the opening leg of Nigeria’s Super Falcons’ 2028 Olympic Games qualifying tie against Comoros on Friday.
Henriette Byukusenge has been named as the centre referee for the encounter, with Sandrine Murangwa serving as assistant referee one and Regine Mukayiranga will be the assistant referee two to complete the officiating team.
Aline Umutoni, also from Rwanda, will perform the duties of the fourth official and reserve referee.
CAF has further appointed Namibia’s Fransiska Katjaimo as referee assessor, while Burkina Faso’s Oumou Sy will oversee proceedings as the match commissioner.
The Super Falcons will host Comoros at the Remo Stars Sports Complex, Ikenne, as both sides begin their battle for a place in the next stage of the Olympic qualification race.
The first meeting is scheduled for Friday October 9 with the second leg billed for next Tuesday at the same Ikenne venue.
The Falcons will be hoping to establish an advantage in the opening encounter before returning to the pitch four days later to complete the tie.
