PSP promises to extend service to inner Bucknor community

In response to the yearnings of the residents of section of Bucknor community in Ejigbo local council area for the services of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), the Private Sector Participant (PSP) operating in the community has promised to upgrade its operation by extending its service to the areas yet to be covered.

The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Oriowo Adetokun, while speaking with ECHONEWS said the company is ready to honour the request by the community.

The residents of Ashamu Estate and Promise Land had, through the Chairman of the Coalition of Bucknor CDAs, Mr. Toyin Saka, called on the PSP to extend its service to the parts of the community.

The communities, which are closer to the canal, stated that they were in need of waste mismanagement operator to control indiscriminate waste disposal and keep the environment clean.

Adetokun, said he would personally try to locate the communities and see what his company needs to do.

He noted that the communities might have been excluded from their service because of roads which make it difficult for their trucks to access the communities.
