Prof. Olayinka David-West Visits SAIL Innovation Lab, Lauds Remarkable Impacts On Youths

Professor (Mrs) Olayinka David-West, a well-known expert in Information Systems and Associate Dean at Lagos Business School, recently visited the renowned SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu, established by Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA and Feyisola as part of their endowment.

The Innovation Lab focuses on digital transformation, a cause that Professor David-West is passionate about.

She praised the lab’s founders for their vision in empowering the youth of Lagos East to explore the vast opportunities in the digital and tech sector.

During her interaction with the lab participants, she shared her own career journey in IT and financial services, encouraging them to make the most of the free resources offered by SAIL Innovation Lab.

The Vice-Chencellor of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Prof. Olumuyiwa Odusanya and the Pro-Chancellor, Lagos State University, LASU, Sir. David Sumoni, alongside notable leaders in Ikorodu division – His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Member, Governance Advisory Council, GAC, Asiwaju Reuben Olorunfunmi Basorun, Former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and Architect Taiwo Kara, Mr. Deji Abisola, (Chief Impact Consultant, SAIL) Dr. Saheed Ibikunle, were present to tour the SAIL Innovation, alongside Senator Abiru and Prof. David-West.
