The remains of a yet-to-be identified man, who was confirmed dead after collapsing while jogging early in the morning has been deposited at the mortuary by Nigeria Police Force, Isolo Police Division.

It was gathered that the man whose name remained unknown as at the time of filing this report was on early morning exercise on Tuesday, August 13 in Isolo when he suddenly collapsed and died on the spot around 5:30am.

The Commanding Officer of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Corps (LNSC), Isolo LCDA, Mrs. Funmilola Adekile told ECHONEWS that the officials of the corps promptly responded to a distress call by the residents to put the situation under control before the intervention of police officers from Isolo Division.

“His remains have been deposited in the mortuary at Isolo General Hospital after unfruitful efforts to get any of the deceased’s relatives for the purpose of identification. He was deposited in the mortuary in order to curtail further panic and allow residents to go about their normal business activities. We are still waiting for his relatives to come for his corpse.”
