The Competition which is dedicated in honour of the first Civilian Governor of Osun State, Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke is solely sponsored by Rep. Some Lagos based club owners have lauded the organizers of the competition for bringing in political office holders to sponsor grassroots football and hope it will be encouraged in some parts of Lagos state as only the speaker of the House of Representatives, representing Surulere constituency, hon Femi Gbajabiamila is known for his massive contribution to the development of sport.

The final of the Competition will come up on the 15th of January 2022 in Ede.
