Oshodi-Isolo LGA targets trophy at NASHCO fare competition

The Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA) chapter of the National Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists (NASHCO) has been preparing to win the trophy at this year’s edition of the Lagos State August Fair Competitions.

The Fair is an annual programme during which the artisans showcase their products and skills as it usually comes with competitions among all NASHCO members in the 57 Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas.

In preparation for the competition, the association’s chairperson, Oshodi-Isolo chapter, Mrs. Comfort Akinkuowo charged members to make sure they attain excellence at the competition which is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28 and Thursdays, August 29, 2019.

It was gathered that the best competitors would be given a cash prize as well as hair products from different manufacturers that would be present at Akesan Igando, venue of the programme.

Akinkuowo said that each LG and LCDA has been given different handicraft to work on to be displayed at the event, noting that Oshodi is to display Make-up and gele makings while Isolo and Ejigbo are to display different hairstyles that would make a difference at the competition.
