Olasoju Congratulates New CDC Excos As Olatunde Returns Chairman

The chairman of Isolo LCDA, Adebayo Olasoju has congratulated the newly elected members of the Community Development Committee (CDC) as the former committee chairman, Mr. Adesegun Olatunde was re-elected unopposed for his second term of two years.
While inaugurating the new executive members at the council secretariat, Olasoju, who was represented by his Vice, Hon. Shakir Sadiq, charged them to be more supportive.
Olasoju, who presented them with a certificate of election commended the outgone executives for living up to their responsibilities of project monitoring, community advocacy, and complementing the efforts of the council via CDA-sponsored projects.
“It was a pleasure working with the outgone CDC executives led by Mr. Adesegun Olatunde. Under Mr. Olatunde the CDC was at its best by way of project monitoring, community advocacy, and ensuring that the various CDAs were active in their respective areas,” Olasoju remarked.
Speaking further, the council boss congratulated the new executives of the various CDAs, especially their chairmen, secretaries, and treasurers.
He also hailed them for the rancour-free ratification of the new CDC executives.
“I heartily congratulate you on your emergence as the leaders of your respective CDAs. This is a call to service and I believe you will serve selflessly and diligently. To the CDC, what more can I say than urge you to up your activities towards enhancing community advocacy and development. Be assured that we will continually work hand-in-hand with you, like before, to achieve your plans and also to help us in the discharge of the expected delivery of democracy dividends at the grassroots,” he stated.
Oath of office was administered to the 18-man executives by the council legal officer.
In his acceptance speech, the highly-elated Olatunde was full of gratitude to the council for what he described as unquantifiable support towards his emergence as he promised to foster the harmonious relationship between the council authority and the CDC.
He declared that his second term is to complement his first term achievements and raise community service further.
