The former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oshodi-Isolo LG, Hon. Sunday Olaifa, has disclosed his ambition to become the Lagos State vice chairman of the party.

Olaifa said this in a chat with ECHONEWS, saying his achievements as the LG chairman of the party are enough to earn him the position.

Mentioning his achievements while in office, the former LG party chairman said he was able to produce two Federal House of Representatives members and two members of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Olaifa, who doubled as the Secretary, Lagos State LG Party Chairmen’s Forum, said his party won in 2012 the four political posts in Oshodi-Isolo Constituencies I and II.

He appreciated the party members for giving him the needed support during his first and second tenures as the party chairman.

He said his administration would not have been totally successful if members had not cooperated with him towards the development of the party.

He, therefore, advised the new party chairman to make sure he carries everyone along, saying transparency is one of the virtues of leadership.

“Let members have sense of belonging, engage in regular meeting and also penetrate into every section such as women, youths, elders and more that constitute the part. They are the ones who would make you succeed.
