NWFL Premiership: Hajiya Husaina Suleiman confident of a great outing for Nasarawa Amazons

Chairperson of Nasarawa Amazons, Hajiya Husaina Suleiman is optimistic that Nasarawa Amazons will perform very well in the NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season as they were the runner-up in last season.

The Amazons will be hoping they win the NWFL Premiership this season as they came close last season finishing second behind eventual winners, Bayelsa Queens.

Speaking to ECHONEWS, the chairperson of Nasarawa Amazons, Hajiya Husaina Suleiman said all teams are ready for the NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season as they have corrected their mistakes in the preseason tournament they participated in preceding the commencement of the league campaign.

“Everybody is ready for the NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season. For us to participate in the preseason competition is an advantage to us and where there are flaws, the technical people will provide their advise, it will be corrected and we will hope for the best in the NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season.

“If we win the NWFL Premiership this season, it’s going to be a very big moment for us but we will give thanks to the almighty God, we have always been praying and encouraging our girls to be the best and make our state proud.

“The governor have been really supportive and we really appreciate him for that.”
