The collaboration between the Joint CDA for Position Change and Rapid Development Forum and Mushin Local Government has started de-silting drainage in Martins street, Babalosha area of Mushin.

Three CDAs – Mashewele, Ologongo, and Ewe Agbigbo – have pooled funds, along with support from the Local Government, to carry out the project.

They have already cleared drainage channels in 18 streets and are continuing their efforts to completely de-silt the Idi Oro and Olosha area, aiming to prevent potential property damage from flooding in the rainy season.

Leaders from three communities recently met with Mr. Emmanuel Bamigboye, the Chairman of Mushin LG, to show gratitude for his financial help towards their project.

They expressed their appreciation as the chairman revealed his upcoming plans to construct a modern market at Idi Oro to replace the old Alamutu market, as well as the rehabilitation of the road with concrete drainage along Bankole street.
