LOGMA: Obe emerges best chairman, wins 10-seater bus

The Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Bello Obe has been declared the winner of the 2020 Local Government Merit Award (LOGMA) with a star prize of a 10-seater bus.

Obe emerged Best Local Government Chairman in the roads/rural integration category after pulling overwhelming votes.

The organisers of the awards, who visited the chairman to notify him, said the presentation ceremony is scheduled to hold in Abuja on November 5, this year.

Obe attributed the feat to the mercy of God and the good people of Ejigbo who made it happen.

“I feel extremely happy, this has been the collective efforts of myself, the vice chairman, all the councillors and supervisors. It’s not our making but the mercy of God who has  touched the minds of the common man in Ejigbo. I also appreciate the residents of Ejigbo who appreciate our little road infrastructures that we have constructed and for their votes because it showed that votes really counted in the selection process.”

Obe defeated other local government chairmen in Lagos State to emerge winner in the roads and rural integration category.
