LCL: FC Brave draw with Divine FC

FC Brave was forced to a 1-1 draw by Divine FC.

Divine FC had control of the possession of play but brilliant offside trap by FC Brave kept them frustrated.

Divine FC held sway in the early stage of the game but were unfortunately beaten by the offside trap of FC Brave.

Left back Sheriff Babatunde gave FC Brave the lead in the 25th minute with a powerful left footed shot which stroke the goal post before finding the back of the net and was assisted by Lanre Olalere who gave a looping pass which got the better of the defense line of Divine FC.

Divine FC continued their sleek passing by knocking their opponent back to their half and wasted scores of chances.

Mamud Bature grabbed a late goal for Divine FC in the 87th minute to split a point apiece to each team.

Coach of Divine FC, Mayate Mathieu said he was very disappointed in the result because of the chances his team threw away to win the game but he was glad, his team was able to get a draw.

Babatunde Balogun, coach of FC Brave said the result was not a good one for his team because of the loss of focus his team had towards the end of the game.
