No fewer than eight teams that  will be representing each European team will participate in the first edition of the Football Fans Show organised by Brave management.

The competition, according to the organiser, is to allow fans of Europe based clubs at the grassroots to wear the jerseys of their favorite teams to play in the competition.

The organiser of the event, Babatunde Balogun, said the first edition is being organised as a youth developmental programme through sport, adding that it is also an avenue for bringing the atmosphere of foreign clubs to the grassroots.

“The first edition is coming through as a developmental and empowerment programme, which will develop the players. It is also a way of bringing the youths together through sport by donning the jerseys of their favorite European teams.

“We are organising this competition because we notice how foreign clubs are being supported by a lot of fans so, we are looking towards bringing them together to compete in their favorite team colours.”

Highlighted the number of teams that will be participating in the tournament, Balogun said it will be an avenue for the youths to showcase their talents.

“A total of 8 teams will be participating in the tournament, which are Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, AC Milan, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus and Liverpool. This will also be an opportunity for the youths to showcase their hidden talents,” he said.
