Jumez FC defeat My People FC in a five-goal thriller

Jumez FC beat My People FC in a thrilling encounter at LASPOTECH Isolo, the match ended in 3-2.

My People FC equalised the scoreline at 2-2 before Daniel Udofia scored a late winner for Jumez FC.

Qudus Jolaosho was in great form as his early double in the game for Jumez FC made them dictate proceedings in the game and gave them a comfortable stand in the game.

Jumez FC opened the scoring in the game through Qudus Jolaosho with a terrific finish which found the top corner of the net and was assisted by Babatunde Idowu.

Qudus Jolaosho and Babatunde Idowu combined again to double the lead for Jumez FC in the 30th minute with a teamwork move as Babatunde Idowu once again provided the assist to setup Qudus Jolaosho who finished past the opposing goalie.

My People FC reduced the goal deficit to 2-1 with a great header to add a great atmosphere to the game.

Jumez FC goalie produced a terrific save from close range to deny My People FC of the equalizer in the 36th minute of play.

My People FC came back on level terms through a blistering run from left-back Yusuf Ogunwale who dribbled past three defenders before slotting the ball past the onrushing goalie of Jumez FC with his weaker foot.

Jumez FC came back to top the game in the 85th minute with a well-placed effort to lead the game 3-2 through Daniel Udofia who scored with a curling effort which made the opposing goalie rooted to the spot.

Coach of Jumez FC, Ogunfowokan Hakeem, expressed delight with his team’s performance, saying the win would serve as an encouragement for his side in subsequent matches in Fusion League.
