Popular Nigerian music executive and producer Don Jazzy has showered praise on alternative singer Johnny Drille, describing him as the most complete musician in the Nigerian music industry.
The founder of Mavin Records made the remarks while speaking during a recent episode of the Crea8torium podcast.
According to Don Jazzy, Johnny Drille possesses rare musical qualities that distinguish him from other artistes in the country.
He stated that the singer’s versatility, songwriting ability, production skills and stage performance place him in a unique category within the industry.
The veteran producer further explained that Johnny Drille’s consistency during live performances also makes him stand out, noting that the singer delivers the same vocal quality both in the studio and on stage.
“There is nobody like Johnny Drille in the Nigerian music industry right now. He is in his own lane,” Don Jazzy said.
He added that the singer remains one of the few artistes capable of handling multiple aspects of music production, including writing, singing and sound engineering.
