Akinpelu Rallies Support For Tinubu, APC Candidates In Alimosho
Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson on Saturday led stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Alimosho Federal Constituency at a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held at African Church Primary School, Akinogun, also featured the formal presentation of APC candidates for various elective positions within the constituency.
Speaking with journalists after the gathering, Akinpelu said the party had commenced early mobilisation efforts to ensure victory for APC candidates across all levels in 2027.
According to him, the stakeholders’ meeting was organised to officially introduce candidates and prepare party members for intensive grassroots campaigns across the constituency.
He disclosed that Ganiyu Ayuba Adele would contest for the House of Representatives seat, while Luqman Orelope and Kehinde Joseph were presented as candidates for Alimosho Constituency I and II respectively.
Akinpelu stressed that the party would embark on aggressive door-to-door mobilisation to further strengthen support for the APC across the constituency.
The council chairman also reaffirmed support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insisting that party members must continue sensitising residents on the achievements of the Renewed Hope administration and ongoing economic reforms.
He described Tinubu’s re-election bid as non-negotiable, adding that APC members in Alimosho remained committed to delivering massive votes for the party during the 2027 elections.
Akinpelu further noted that the large turnout of party leaders and stakeholders at the meeting reflected unity and cohesion within the APC structure in Alimosho.
He added that several party leaders, including Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, remained fully committed to the progress and stability of the party in the constituency.
The meeting was attended by APC state executives, local government chairmen, councillors, ward leaders and other stakeholders from across Alimosho Federal Constituency.
