Following the Local Economic Empowerment Strategy (LEEDS) Meeting that was held mid-december, Isolo Local Coincil Development Area (LCDA) is set to embark on a 2-day budget retreat.

Unlike last year’s budget retreat that was held at Lagos Palm Beach Hotel and Resort, Eleko Beach, this year’s retreat will be held within the locality, at Dees Hotels and Apartment, Ajao Estate for just two days and as further explained in the memo attendance is strictly by invitation and compliance with all Covid-19 Precautions.

“It’s going to be on how consolidate on the fine job the executive chairman has been doing all this while. It will be on how to work on his outstanding performance in the council area because I know he’s going to work until the last day in office.

Speaking on why the retreat will be held in the locality, Olojede said: “It’s because of the situation on ground, Covid 19 and everything. We are trying as much as possible to avoid a sitaitjok of large gathering. We will finish whatever we are going to do in two day, it will be strictly business. I expect the legislative arm to be there and once they are there and we will do everything together, it will fasten their own subsequent work on the budget. Because once they are part of the decision makers, it will hasten their own work and implementation can commence in no time for the much benefits of the good and loving people of Isolo LCDA.”
