Isolo legislative arm approves 2018 Budget

Following exhaustive deliberation and intensive scrutiny, the Legislative arm of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has finally approved the proposed 2018 Appropriation Bill.

The approval was conveyed in a letter of consent dated 20th February 2018 and jointly signed by the Leader of the House, Hon. Remy Shittu Remmy and the Clerk of the Council, G.O. Anibaba.

The letter which was addressed to the Executive Chairman, Hon. Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye, read in part: “The Legislative Council at its plenary session on Monday, 19th February 2018, having scrutinized the 2018 proposed budget which presented at Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Legislative Chamber on Tuesday 13th February 2018, and being satisfied with the summary as stated.

Remmy said the Legislative arm gave the proposed bill a speedy approval to enable the council to set the developmental train in motion so that people of Isolo LCDA would start feeling the impact of development.
