Ilasamaja monarch warns youths against desperate politicians

The Baale of Ilasamaja in Isolo Local Council Development Area, His Highness, Alhaji Abdul-Fatai J.A. Abereijo, has warned the youths against allowing the desperate politicians to use them to perpetrate havoc on the community during the forthcoming elections.
The monarch, who gave the warning yesterday when some organised youths under the umbrella of Coalition for Nigeria Youth Movement visited him at his residence in Ilasamaja, noted that another political era has come around the corner when politicians would be looking for the youths to be sacrificed for their own selfish interests.
According to him, this is the era when politicians usually cajole the electorate to vote for them without any benefit beyond the worthless immediate gifts.
He said, “Our eyes are now opened, we can’t just follow any politician without good agenda for us again.
“We are equally appealing to our youths to be wise and not to allow any politician to use them. Their own children and relatives are kept save away from the election battles. But they don’t mind whether other people’s children die for them, their own is just to get to the position b and latter dumb the youths who endangered their lives for them.”
He however admonished the electorate particularly the youths to vote wisely during the elections in order to elect the right candidates who would give back to the community and the youths.
