Igando Ikotun Holds Revenue Collector Review Committee Meeting 2024

The Chairman of Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, Comrade Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, has emphasized his dedication to motivating the Council’s revenue officers.

Mrs. Mojisola Badmus, the Vice Chairman, delivered this message on his behalf during the first Revenue Collector Review Committee (RCRC) meeting of 2024, which took place at the Council Secretariat hall.

Mojisola urged the revenue officers to be diligent in their work and adhere to proper procedures consistently.

She said, “Write your name in gold; wherever we find ourselves, let’s try to make a name for ourselves, once we made good name, money will flow in naturally.

Don’t fight with anybody out there but make sure you’re on the right part, and ensure that your clients pay to the appropriate accounts. Let’s cooperate with the government of the day, our Chairman is a father who cares about our welfare.”

In her words, the Council Treasurer, Mrs. Dejonwo Mopelola enjoined the officers to always work as a team in order to achieve good result.

“If our aim and objective is to increase the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of this LCDA, we should endeavour to work together as a team.” She posited.
