Group Commends Agege LG Boss On Developmental Stride

The Chairman Agege Local Government Mr. Ganiyu Egunjobi, and Sarki Hausawa Agege, HRM Alhaji Musa Mohammed Dogon, has been commended by Agege Molebi United Forum, a nonprofit organization located in the Agege Local area of Lagos State.

The group commended him when it visited the local government secretariat, describing the chairman’s contribution as a great one to the development of the area.

Speaking on behalf of the forum, Mrs. Funmi Bakare Johnson said that the purpose of the Award of Excellence to the chairman is to motivate him to increase his level of dedication to Agege’s expansion and advancement.

The local government secretary, Mr. Adaranijo Rasheed, accepted the award on behalf of the chairman and expressed gratitude to the forum for thinking it appropriate to honor the council chairman. He also expressed hope for the chairman’s continued support of Agege Molebi United Forum.

To continue in this spirit, the forum delegation also paid a visit to Sarkin Hausawa, HRM, Alhaji Musa Muhammad Dogon Kadai, Agege, to give him the Award of Excellence.

The delegation praised Sarkin Hausawa for his efforts to ensure that Hausas and Yorubas in Agege cohabit.

The necessity of associating with the Hausa leader was also mentioned, while responding, HRM Kadai expressed his Joy for the Honour, disclosing the award is the first of its kind as the Sarkin.

He emphasized the importance of peace amongst the Hausas and Yorubas within Agege and Lagos and also extended his gratitude to CSP Yinka Egbeyemi commander of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad.

He revealed that he was born in Agege and wished to be buried in Agege.
