A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Real Acts of Kindness Development Foundation has called on the Lagos State Government to proffer more aids and means of catering fr the less privileged in the State.
The Foundation made the call during it’s visit to Hephzibah Homes and Lady Atinuke Orphanage in Badagry LGA, stating that the less privileged can live more comfortable life with better assistance from the government.
The founder of the Foundation, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlede represented by the Welfare Director, Antonia Sobulo said the essence of the visit was to assure the less privileged that they are loved by alla at the society does not abandon them.
He said giving palliatives could be psychological as one’s relationship with kids from childhood will let them build trust with someone which is what aids their healthy growth in the environment without feeling their difference from other kids.
Ogunlede added that aside from the government, privileged individuals or groups should also contribute to help the poor.
Items such as foods, groceries, sports materials, detergent powder, rice, cooking oil, baby diapers, etc. were delivered to the orphanage.
