Red Grape Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded by the former House of Reps aspirant in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Hon. Habeeb Anibaba, has donated exercise books to the pupils of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Primary School as part of efforts to support their academic pursuit.

The pupils and teachers, who were surprised at the gesture, received the materials with joy as they appreciated the goodwill.

The pupils happily displayed the books as it was evident that they rarely receive such support from organisations and individuals.

Speaking with ECHONEWS the vice headmistress of the school, Mrs. Ogunfuyi G.O, said she was excited to see that such gifts could be extended to the school.

She appreciated the organisation’ and  founder and prayed for God’s blessing beyond human imagination and the growth of the NGO.

The Head boy and Head girl of the school, Shittu Malik and Rebecca Dada, who spoke on behalf of other pupils appreciated the efforts of the Foundation, saying the gesture was a great honour to them and the school.

They therefore promised that the materials would be used judiciously by the pupils  while appealing to other organisations and individuals in the society to emulate the gesture.

Accordng to them, since government could not  do it alone, the education sector needed  support following the Covid-19 pandemic which affected many parents badly.
