Epe Political Group Unveil Food Barns Scheme

The political support group of the member, representing the good people of Epe Constituency I, in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Abiodun Tobun unveiled a Food Barns Scheme, through which many members of the group across the constituency will get food stuff for free every month.

To kick off the first edition of the food distribution programme, hundreds of the constituents,selected across the Eight Wards of the constituency,were given packs of Garri – Ijebu,which they happily received.

While addressing the beneficiaries, the Co- ordinator of the group, prince Wale Idowu, said,” This is not a palliative,but a programme put together by the 15 Apex members of the group to show appreciation to our members,for their loyalty and support over the years. It is going to be organised every month and it is strictly for members of Tobun For Real Team,the team which has provided many Bore- Holes at every nook and cranny of Epe Constituency I; and that has been very supportive of all the good governance and quality representation being provided by our principal,Hon. Abiodun Tobun,has been doing for all his constituents”

” What we are giving you today,may be small,know that,as we continue, it will be improved and you can start receiving two or more food items,every month. this is made possible by our personal money and this is our starting point of alleviating your hardship,as a member of a team whose major concern is to ensure good governance” He added.

The Patron of the team,Pastor Segun Oluade,popularly known as Segson; and APC L.G.A Chairman,Epe Local Government,Hon. Oloruntoyin Gbadamoshi,encouraged the beneficiaries to keep doing their best within the group.

The distribution of the food item began from Ward A1 to other Wards.
