The Council Secretariat at Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) is on course for a face-lift as promised by the Bello led administration during the conducted Business Summit forum with the residents of the community.
The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Bello stated at the maiden Business Summit held in the community that the council Secretariat situated at Iyana Ejigbo would soon be modified, a task aimed at ensuring the surroundings and activities in the council are in like terms with the state’s Secretariat which would in turn improve the services rendered to the people of Ejigbo.
According to Bello, the motives behind the rehabilitation of the council also cut across making sure that there is a reasonable level of security enjoyed by the workers at the council as there would be more check-mating on everyone who is seen within the premises of the Secretariat.
During a visit to the council Secretariat today, Echonews observed that construction work has commenced as trucks were seen bringing building materials into the council.
These, according to the Chairman, were the materials needed for the construction of the anticipated ‘befitting structures’.
He assured that quality materials would be used in making sure all targets as regards the accomplishments of the desired plans are met.
