Ejigbo APC youths rally support for Sanwo-Olu, others

The youths forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC) known as APC Youths, Ejigbo Local Council Development Area has rallied support for the party’s governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly aspirants under the party.

Speaking at the youths meeting on Wednesday, the LGA Party Youth Leader, Babajide Ogunmefun said they have been fashioning out strategies to make sure that Ejigbo delivers 100 per cent vote to the party in 2019.

He noted that the youths were lagging in the politics as they take back seat in political activities.

He therefore maintained that the youths in Ejigbo would champion the cause during the 2019 general elections and take front position to make the party achieve total victory from the federal to the local levels.

He disclosed that one of the strategies to be used by the youths is that all of them would be visible at every polling booth and campaign and monitor the elections closely.

“If we fail in Ejigbo to deliver for the party in 2019, we youths will disgrace our two Commissioners – Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan and the Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon. AbdulAkeem AbdulLateef, we will disgrace our LCDA chairman who has been good to us, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello, not only them, we will disgrace ourselves as youths,” he said while charging the youths to make sure they get their PVCs.

Meanwhile, Ogunmefun commended the Ejigbo LCDA Chairman, Monsurudeen Bello, for his promise to turn the party secretariat at Anuoluwapo street, Ejigbo to a business center and hand it over to the youths to serve as revenue generation for them.

Also speaking, the Chairman, Ejigbo LGA APC Publicity Secretary, Mr. Saheed Odusanya, promised that his publicity team is ready to project the party and all its aspirants in good manner to the electorate.
