Dangote Rewards ‘Mr Cement’ Kazeem Odeyeyiwa With Luxury Lexus SUV
By Emmanuel Daniji
For three consecutive years, Kazab Heritage Ltd has maintained its position at the top of Dangote Cement’s customer network, and that consistency has now earned its chairman, Otunba Kazeem Olayemi Odeyeyiwa, one of the biggest rewards in Nigeria’s building materials business.
Odeyeyiwa was recognised as the Number One Customer Nationwide at Dangote Cement’s 2026 Customer Celebration and Distributor Awards, earning him the title “Mr Cement 2026.”
His company, Kazab Heritage, a subsidiary of Repton Group, reportedly achieved the feat for the third consecutive year, placing Odeyeyiwa among the standout business partners of Nigeria’s largest cement producer.
To celebrate the achievement, Dangote Cement presented him with a brand-new Lexus LX 600 SUV, alongside a cash prize. The vehicle has been reported to be worth more than ₦300 million.
The presentation took place at Dangote Cement’s 2026 Distributors’ Awards Night held at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, where the company reportedly rewarded its top-performing distributors and customers with incentives worth about ₦15 billion.
Africa’s leading industrialist, Aliko Dangote, was also present at the event.
More Than a Luxury Gift
For Odeyeyiwa and Kazab Heritage, the Lexus is more than an expensive reward. It represents the commercial value of consistency in a highly competitive industry where distributors have to maintain strong sales, customer relationships and market reach year after year.
The company’s three-year run at the top also highlights the growing importance of distributor networks to Nigeria’s cement and construction industry.
Across Nigeria, distributors serve as a critical link between major manufacturers and the builders, contractors, developers and individual customers who need cement for homes, commercial projects and large-scale developments.
For businesses like Kazab Heritage, therefore, success is not simply about selling cement. It involves building a reliable distribution network, maintaining customer confidence and responding to the demands of a construction market that continues to expand.
Dangote Cement congratulated Kazab Heritage on securing the number-one position for three consecutive years, highlighting the company’s consistency, partnership and growth.
The recognition also sends a message to younger entrepreneurs and businesses operating within Nigeria’s distribution and building materials sector: sustained performance can translate into significant commercial recognition and rewards.
Setting the Record Straight on the Lexus
While the story has gone viral, there has been some confusion over the exact vehicle presented to Odeyeyiwa.
Some social media posts claimed that the businessman received a “2026 Lexus LX 700 Hybrid worth ₦450 million.” However, the more credible accounts, including information shared by Dangote Cement, identify the vehicle as a Lexus LX 600, with reports putting its value at over ₦300 million.
There is therefore no reliable basis for publishing the ₦450 million or LX 700 Hybrid figures as established facts.
The latest award is also not an isolated achievement for Kazab Heritage. Independent reports have previously identified the company as Dangote Cement’s largest distributor in 2023, suggesting that its latest recognition is part of a longer record of strong performance.
For Kazeem Odeyeyiwa, the title “Mr Cement 2026” and the luxury Lexus may be the most visible rewards, but behind the headlines is a bigger business story: a Nigerian distributor that has turned consistency, scale and a strong relationship with one of the country’s biggest manufacturers into a winning formula.
And in a sector where every bag of cement counts, three consecutive years at Number One is certainly a record worth celebrating.
