JUST IN: Burial of Actress Tope Osoba Postponed Indefinitely

The burial ceremony of late actress, Tope Osoba, has been postponed until further notice, according to an official announcement by her family.

In a statement issued by the Osoba and Awonuga families, the postponement followed the Candlelight and Artiste Night held in honour of the deceased.

The family said the decision was taken to allow it to conclude necessary arrangements for a befitting burial ceremony.

“The Family of Osoba & Awonuga wishes to inform the general public that the burial ceremony of the late actress, Tope Osoba, has been POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE,” the statement said.

The family appealed to members of the public, friends, colleagues and well-wishers to continue to keep them in their prayers and respect their decision during the mourning period.

It said a new burial date and venue would be communicated officially in due course.

The family thanked the public for the love, support and understanding extended to them following the actress’s death.
