Nigerian music star Burna Boy is set to feature in the highly anticipated video game Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) as a host on one of its in-game radio stations.

The Grammy-winning singer will co-host AfroBank FM alongside German DJ and music producer Palms Trax, bringing a selection of African sounds to the game.

Burna Boy will appear as an in-game radio personality named Burna. His latest involvement with the franchise follows his previous contributions, including Killin Dem, his collaboration with Zlatan, which featured on GTA V’s iFruit Radio, and Gettin’ Money, which appeared in the GTA Online Cayo Perico update.

AfroBank FM is expected to showcase a wide range of African music, including 20th-century classics, lesser-known musical gems, amapiano and 3-step sounds.

Burna Boy joins an international lineup of musicians selected to host radio stations in the game. Others include Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, American singer Lana Del Rey, country music star Morgan Wallen, Swedish singer Robyn, rappers Trick Daddy and Trina, as well as Slayer band members Kerry King and Tom Araya.

The announcement adds another international video game credit to Burna Boy’s career and places African music among the sounds expected to feature in one of the gaming industry’s most anticipated releases.

Developed by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
