BREAKING: 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League host nation revealed

In a press briefing by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) executive committees on Sunday, it was revealed that Morocco will host the 2022 Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League.
Morocco is presently hosting the Women Africa Cup Of Nations (WAFCON) and they will follow it up with the hosting of the elite club competition in Africa the CAF Women’s Champions League later this year.
Mamelodi Sundowns FC Ladies from South Africa won the 2021 Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League hosted in Egypt last year as they defeated Hasaacas Ladies FC from Ghana in the final.
A total of 8 clubs will participate in this year’s Total Energies CAF Women’s Champions League and Bayelsa Queens will be representing Nigeria as they won the NWFL Premiership.
