Apply Now: Tech4Youth 2026 ICT Training Programme
Young people can now apply for the Tech4Youth Advanced ICT Skills Training Programme 2026.
This is a fully funded initiative designed to equip participants with practical technology skills and prepare them for opportunities in the digital economy.
The 12-week programme offers hands-on training across Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Software Development and Artificial Intelligence, alongside mentorship and career development support.
The initiative is implemented by TechQuest STEM Academy under the GIZ Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) Nigeria, with joint funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
What the Programme Offers
Selected participants will receive practical technology training designed to help them develop relevant skills for today’s digital job market.
The programme also provides:
- 12 weeks of practical ICT training
- Mentorship and career guidance
- CV development support
- LinkedIn profile development
- Portfolio development
- Interview and workplace preparation
- Employment and placement support
- Freelancing guidance
- Entrepreneurship support
The combination of technical and career-development training is intended to help participants move from learning digital skills to pursuing employment, freelance and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Available Training Tracks
Applicants can choose from four major technology areas:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cybersecurity
- Data Analytics
- Software Development
Previous professional experience in technology is not required, making the opportunity suitable for young people seeking to enter the technology sector or strengthen their existing digital skills.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is targeted at young people living in Enugu State, Nigeria, who are interested in building careers in technology.
Applicants should:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Be residents of Enugu State.
- Have an interest in developing a career in technology.
- Be willing to participate fully in the 12-week programme.
Women and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Is the Programme Free?
Yes. The Tech4Youth programme is offered as a fully funded training opportunity, meaning selected participants do not pay tuition for the programme.
Applicants are advised to use the designated application channel and be cautious of anyone requesting payment in exchange for guaranteed admission.
Career Opportunities
Beyond technical training, participants will receive support to improve their employability and professional visibility.
This includes assistance with CVs, LinkedIn profiles, portfolios and interview preparation, as well as guidance on freelancing and entrepreneurship.
The programme also provides employment and placement support, although completing the training does not automatically guarantee a job.
