Applications Open: SLA BoostHer Programme 2026 for Young Nigerian Women
Applications are now open for the 2026 She Leads Africa (SLA) BoostHer Programme.
This is an initiative designed to equip young Nigerian women with practical skills, mentorship and opportunities to grow their careers, businesses and income.
The programme is being delivered by She Leads Africa in partnership with Jobberman, with a focus on helping women overcome barriers to entrepreneurship and employment through skills development, expert guidance and access to a supportive professional community.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to Nigerian women aged 18 to 35, including:

- Entrepreneurs looking to strengthen their businesses
- Students seeking career-readiness skills
- Undergraduates interested in improving their employability
- Recent graduates preparing to enter the job market

Skills Participants Can Develop
The programme covers a range of practical and digital skills that can help participants improve their employability or build income-generating businesses.
Training areas include digital marketing, content creation, video editing, graphic design, data analysis, e-book writing and virtual assistance, alongside business strategy, financial management and career preparation.
How the Programme Works
BoostHer combines online and community-based learning. Participants can access courses through SLA’s digital learning platform and participate in live sessions via platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
The programme also provides opportunities for networking through online communities, while selected on-campus and community engagements offer participants opportunities for in-person learning and interaction.
The initiative has already reached thousands of Nigerian women. According to information published about the programme, its first year trained 13,709 Nigerian women, while 2,750 participants recorded income improvements through employment, promotions, freelance work or product sales. The second year targets training 30,000 women.
