APC reconciliation c’mmtt winds up activity in Oshodi-Isolo LG

The reconciliation committee set up by the All progressives Congress (APC), Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, has concluded its activities for preparation towards the July 24 local government elections.

While briefing the stakeholders on its efforts to re-unite all aggrieved members on Friday, the chairman of the committee, Prince S. O. Aina, said the committee could not reach all the people involved due to time constraints and terms of reference.

He, however, appreciated all aggrieved members and aspirants in different political caucus for honoring the committee’s invitation.

He also appreciated the financial support given to the committee by Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, Hon. Fatai Akinderu and the party’s chairmanship candidate, Hon. Kehinde Oloyede.

Also speaking, Hon. Femi Ayodeji, who anchored the programme, said the comprehensive report with the recommendation would be submitted to the party secretariat for actions.

The apex leader of All progressives Congress in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Pa Olabintan gave kudos to the chairman of the committee for a job well-done and expressed gratitude to all members that served in the committee but reminded everyone that reconciliation continues, saying “as a party, there would always be an issue but our differences shouldn’t spill us but re-unite us.”

The party-state representative, Hon. Isreal Akiode, commended the good work done by the reconciliation committee, emphasising the reason why everyone must be united and forget issues from the primary elections and worked together for massive victory in the coming election.

The acting chairman of the party, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, also commended the committee members and appreciated the financial assistance given by Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya to the committee as well as the commitment of the incoming chairman, Hon. Kehinde Oloyede towards the unity of all members of the party before the election.

He enjoined party members to ensure massive mobilisation for the election.

Reacting, Oloyede appreciated all the leaders of the party especially the apex leader, Pa Olabintan for high demonstration of love in uniting aggrieved members, urging everyone to go to their respective wards and mobilise for high turnout of voters.

He assured party members and residents that his administration would serve the people with a difference in infrastructural development and would run an open and all-inclusive government.
