Ansar-Ud-Deen honours 10 in Oshodi-Isolo LGA

Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Council has conferred its prestigious state award on 10 of its members in Oshodi-Isolo branches.

The 10 are among the 48 awardees in all branches across the state.

They were conferred with the awards during the 12th annual merit awards ceremony held recently in its state secretariat at Fagbile along Ijegun Road.

The award ceremony was the first official event held at the council multi-million naira secretariat named Ansar-Ud-Deen Society House, in Ijegun since its commissioning on Sunday, November 1, 2020.

According to the Council Chairman, Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Olabode Salaudeen, the award recognises the awardees’ contributions to  the society and Islam in general.

The awardees are Alhaji Ganiyu Taiwo, Alhaja Risikat Aramide and Alhaja Afusat Odutolu from Oshodi Branch, Alhaja Mudirat Badmus, Alhaja Sidikat Oshinaike and Alhaji Abdul Rauf Fasasi from Ejigbo branch and Alhaji Abdul-Razak Famuditi, Alhaji Rafiu Awolesi, Alhaji Musliudeen Soetan and Alhaja Khadeejah Shobayo from Isolo branch.

The Chairperson of Isolo branch, Alhaja Fauziah Abereijo, commended the awardees for their selfless contributions, urging them to keep up the great work.

She also advised other members of the society to remain steadfast and selfless in their contributions.
