Speaking exclusively to ECHONEWS after winning the Sheroes Cup 2022 edition, Coach Tosan Blankson said he’s very happy as this is the first trophy he’s winning in women’s football.

“This is a Pre-season tournament, I came to this competition to see how my team will play and to access them individually then evaluation comes in, Not winning the best coach award wasn’t a big deal. All that mattered was achieved.

“More than joyous, I’m so grateful to God, I want to thank my players, backroom staff and the management of Delta Queens, I want to thank everyone here for the support and everything.

“I’m short of words for now, the preparation was high, we really prepared for this preseason tournament because if you fail to prepare, you should prepare to fail, we prepare very high, we never knew, we were coming for this preseason but when the opportunity came, we grabbed it.
