Lagos Organisation Hiring Head of General Administration
A multi-sectional international organisation undergoing restructuring, expansion and change management is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Head, General Administration (HGA/GMD) at its headquarters in Lagos.
The full-time role is designed for a vibrant and results-driven professional who can provide strategic administrative leadership and ensure the smooth delivery of support services across the organisation.
The successful candidate will oversee general administration, facilities management and procurement, while ensuring that the organisation’s operational policies and procedures are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of General Administration will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of administrative and operational functions, including:
- General administration and support services across the group.
- Fleet management and procurement activities.
- ICT support services and contract administration.
- Project management and administrative coordination.
- Periodic review of systems and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Administrative and logistics support for various business units and departments.
- Ensuring timely and quality delivery of administrative services across the organisation.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and a relevant professional qualification.
The organisation is looking for candidates with at least eight years of relevant experience, including a minimum of three years in a management position.
Candidates should also demonstrate strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and manage teams effectively. Good project management, planning and negotiation skills are also required.
