Lagos FA Cup finalists, Ghetto Tigers Ladies have inked their name in history books as they become the first club from OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA to play in the foremost President Federation Cup.
Ghetto Tigers Ladies have made profound impacts in women’s football. They have in recent times met their ambitious targets set when they came into establishment.
The OdiOlowo Ojuwoye Queens will square up against NWFL Premiership side, Edo Queens at the Akure Township Stadium, Ondo State on Monday, May 25 in the round of 36 of the Federation Cup.
Ghetto Tigers Ladies made gallant run by knocking out NWFL Premiership side Dannaz Ladies and Championship side DreamStar Ladies to reach their maiden Lagos FA Cup final, which pivoted their qualification to the National stage of the Federation Cup.
Despite Edo Queens towering status in women’s football, the encounter will give room for the Ghetto Tigers Ladies players to display their artistry on the pitch while they give their professional counterparts a run for their money.
Ghetto Tigers Ladies founded in 2018, have won multiple competitions in Lagos State and by reaching the 2026 Lagos FA Cup final, they have cemented their status as an elite club and a force to be reckoned with in Lagos State.
