Captain Fantastic, Solaty Inspires Dannaz Ladies To Five Goal Thriller Win Against Osun Babes

Dannaz Ladies put up a dramatic show as they edge Osun Babes 3-2 in a five goal thriller during their first match of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
The Cedars captain, Fatimoh Solaty who just returned from a long injury layoff put up a dazzling show as she inspired her side to victory against the visiting Osun Babes.
Sharon Shomuyiwa silenced the home crowd as she gave Osun Babes the lead against the run of play in the 15th minute.
This however triggered a cohesive response from Dannaz Ladies as skipper, Solaty scored a terrific header to bring both sides level in the 18th minute.
There’s no much ado later on in the first half as both sides failed to have a breakthrough.
The second half produced thrilling and breathtaking chances for both teams but as Korie Ulumma gave the Cedars the lead in the 79th minute.
Six minutes later, goal poacher, Roqibat Taofeeq brought Osun Babes back into level terms with an emphatic effort from the edge of the box.
Ajoke Akinbo became the hero for Dannaz Ladies as she sealed the win through a goal mouth scramble which sent the home fans into wild jubilation.
Dannaz Ladies will face Nasarawa Amazons in their next game on Wednesday, December 3rd at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, while Osun Babes will trade tackles with Ahudiyannem Queens at the Lanreleke stadium.
