EKEDC Subscribers To Experience Intermitted Power Supply From Monday

The Eko Electricity Distribution Company, EKEDC, has announced that it’s subscribers would experience a reduced power supply from Monday July 28 due to critical maintanance work on the Omotosho-ikeja West 330kV line.
EKEDC in a statement on Friday disclosed that the exercise which will be conducted by the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, will hold till August 21, 2025 will undergo daily power cuts between 8am 5pm, impacting several parts of Lagos and other areas within EKEDC’s operational network.
Extracts from the statement reads, “EKEDC has announced a daily planned power outage from Monday, 28 July, to Thursday, 21 August 2025, due to essential maintenance work by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on the Omotosho-Ikeja West 330 kV line.
“The outage will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day, affecting several parts of Lagos and other serviced areas. During this period, residents should expect intermittent electricity supply and load shedding across the Eko Disco network.”
