Isokan, Abanise CDAs Applaud Iba Council Boss’ Effort On Community

Isokan and Abanise Community Development Associations (CDAs), Iba Local Council Development Area  (LCDA) have appreciated the Council Chairman, Hon. Yisa Jubril for the project support fund and their canal clearing intervention.

The project support fund by the chairman was presented by the HOD Environment, Mrs. M.O. Adeoye.

The communities were led by the Isokan CDA Chairman, Alh. Opomulero Shehu, with others such as Peter Abioye, Alh. Issa Ajao and the former Chairman of  Abanise (CDA), Pastor Collins Ibekwe to receive the fund.

The canal clearing in the environment was duly supervised by the Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Hassan Mustapha, Councillor Ward A, who doubles as the Chairman of the House Committee on Environment, Hon. Ododo Kabir, and HOD Environment Mrs. M. O. Adeoye.

The drainage links the canal between Abanise and Isokan communities.

The exercise was attracted by the influence of the former Supervisor for Health, Iba LCDA, Hon. Usman Ahmed who is a notable member of the Community Association.

The Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Hassan Mustapha, and the Chairman, House Committee on Environment, Hon. Ododo Kabir advised the Community Associations to write a formal letter to the council concerning drainage clearing.

Mustapha noted that drainage clearing is one of the responsibilities of the council and that it is a major concern of the community which needs the proper attention of the council for a sustainable and habitable environment for the residents.
