Ghetto Tigers came from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against FC Brave as they prepared for the upcoming Oshodi-Isolo and Ejigbo League (OIEL).
FC Brave were matching onto victory in the match but two great goals from dazzling winger Ishola Basit secured a draw for Ghetto Tigers .
FC Brave appeared to have control of the match in the first half by switching diagonal passes towards its players before taking a lead in the 36th minute of play.
Ghetto Tigers showed too much respect to their opponent in the first half as they could not muster enough chances in the game.
Lateef Aborishade added to the advantage of FC Brave in the second half as his long range effort was not dealt with by the opposing goalie.
Ghetto Tigers did not relent in their pursuit for goals after conceding two goals in the game until Ishola Basit pulled a goal back to add more firepower to the game.
The center referee issued a red card to a player of FC Brave for elbowing his opponent while contesting for possession of the ball and this disrupted the game plan of FC Brave.
Ishola Basit was a thorn in the flesh of FC Brave as he tormented their defense line and grabbed a well deserved equalizer with a half volley to send his mates in a joyous celebration.
Both teams tried adding to their advantage but could not and later settled for an exciting draw.
Speaking with ECHONEWS, the coach of Ghetto Tigers, Azeez Mustapha, disclosed that it was a difficult game against a reputable FC Brave side, stating that his tactical changes gave his team a deserved draw in the game.
FC Brave coach, Babatunde Balogun, said his team lost concentration after taking a two-goal lead.
He, however, congratulated Ghetto Tigers for putting up a great performance and urged the team to play with other top teams to be stronger.
