Ebony FC crushes Okeyson FC 4-2

Ebony FC crushed Okeyson FC 4-2 to start their campaign on a good note in the ongoing Gabson Football Tournament at LBIC Estate, Iyana-Isolo.

The team broke the deadlock in the 20th minute with a thumping header into the back of the net.

Okeyson FC’s goalkeeper produced a great effort in the 24th minute to keep the score line at bay.

The club equalised in the 30th minute with a deflected shot, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. It was the turn of the goalkeeper of Ebony FC to make a great save in the 33rd minute.

It was an entertaining encounter as the first half ended 1-1.

In the 50th minute the goalkeeper of Okeyson FC made a stunning double save to deny Ebony FC from adding to their tally.

Ebony FC took a much deserved lead in the 53rd minute but Okeyson FC replied back with a penalty in the 60th minute which was scored by their influential goalkeeper.

Ebony FC dexterity was far ahead of Okeyson FC so it was not surprising that Ebony FC took the lead again for the third time in the 67th minute after good link up play from the defence to the attack.

Ebony FC further added to their tally with a sumptuous fourth goal in the 84th minute to wrap up an important victory.

Okeyson FC needs to win their next two matches to keep hope alive in the competition while Ebony FC needs a win in their next match to secure passage to the quarter final of the competition.
