Lagos APC Guber Primary: NYCN congratulates Babajide Sanwo-Olu

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State chapter has congratulated the All Progressive Congress Governorship Candidate elected, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu after a free, fair and credible primary election held yesterday.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Clouncil, Tinubu Rilwan Ayodeji, the NYCN Chairman, Comrade Gbenga Ogunsola, noted that the emergence of Sanwo-Olu signified the pupolar Will of the people which he termed as major ingredient for democracy and development.
He described the exercise as first of its kind in view of the direct party democracy just like the June 12, 1993 elections that produced Chief M.K.O Abiola.
The Youth Chairman noted that the voice of the people have just prevailed.
He thank the National Working Committee Panel led by Chief Clement Ebiri who yielded to the voice of the people of Lagos, party faithful, market men and women, artisan and all relevant stakeholders especially the entire youth population in the state who came out in their large numbers to uphold the tenets of democracy yesterday.
Ogunsola however urged all aggrieved persons to look beyond personal gains but the development of Lagos which Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has tried in his own capacity to build.
He appealed to the teaming youth population not to engage in any violent act but to see the victory of Mr. Sanwo-Olu as the will of God.
