Yusuf Amuda savages draw for Diadem Stallion against Soccer Cardinals

Diadem Stallion FC began the year on a fair note as they came from a goal down to draw level with Soccer Cardinals FC.

John Agunsoye gave Soccer Cardinals the lead in the 32nd minute, while Yusuf Amuda secured a draw for the Royal Blues (Diadem Stallion) in the 72nd minute.

Soccer Cardinals had a solid game plan which the players stocked to it by playing fast football which Diadem Stallion had problem dealing with.

Though Diadem Stallion had their own fair share of chances in the first half, they failed to convert them into goals. 

It took tactical brilliance from the coach of Diamond Stallion, Ayodeji Adebayo, to introduce the trio of Yusuf Amuda, Obinna Williams and Monsuru Odedeji which eventually had an immediate impact on the game in the second half.

Diadem Stallion were able to contain their opponent in the second half and secured a draw through the exquisite finishing of Yusuf Amuda in the 72nd minute.

Speaking with ECHONEWS, the coach of Soccer Cardinals FC, Oluwarotimi Akinboro, said he was satisfied with the outcome of the game, hoping that his team would correct their mistakes in subsequent matches.

Coach Ayodeji Adebayo of Diamond Stallion said his team was not yet fit but gave kudos to the players for securing a draw in a very tough game.
