Wise Agenda Earns Akinpelu Johnson Alimosho Man of the Year Honour

The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has been honoured as the Alimosho Man of the Year in recognition of his leadership and development focused administration.

The recognition was conferred by the DoSi Foundation during its 25th anniversary awards ceremony, which celebrates excellence in public service and community impact.

According to the organisers, the honour reflects his consistent efforts to improve governance and promote development across Alimosho Local Government.

They described him as a man of the people with a clear vision and intentional approach to leadership, noting that his administration has strengthened unity and progress within the community.

Through his Wise Agenda programme covering Welfare, Infrastructure, Security and Education, Johnson was commended for bringing structure and direction to governance at the local level.

The organisers said the initiative has helped to improve service delivery and deepen trust between the government and residents, while also encouraging collective responsibility in community development.

They further stated that his leadership has demonstrated that governance can be effective when driven by clarity of purpose, discipline and commitment to the people.

With the award, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson joins a list of past recipients recognised for outstanding contributions to leadership and community advancement in Alimosho.
